Bocouture®/Xeomin® injections for the elimination of facial wrinkles and treatment of hyperhidrosis from the Merz, Germany
-
- Bocouture®/Xeomin® – the most modern botulinum therapy drug differs from other toxins with a higher degree of purification, it is a natural toxin
- Bocouture® is the purest botulinum toxin type A.
- Bocouture® is the most recommended drug for allergy sufferers.
Advantages of Bocouture®
Bocouture® contains a pure neurotoxin because it lacks immunogenic bacterial proteins (so-called complexing proteins).
The presence of these proteins in other botulinum toxin type A drugs has no therapeutic properties. This only unnecessarily complicates the functioning of the immune system, which leads to the ineffectiveness of repeated treatment.
According to research, even repeated administration of high doses of Bocouture® does not cause the formation of antibodies.
The results of treatment with Bocouture® can be seen after a day, and its effect lasts up to 4 months.
Currently, Bocouture® is the most recommended drug for allergy sufferers who are allergic to proteins and people who are regularly treated with botulinum toxin type A.
The mechanism of action of Bocouture®
Bocouture is injected into the facial muscles. The drug blocks nerve signals that reach the muscles and cause them to contract. As a result, the facial muscles stop contracting and provoke the formation of wrinkles.
At the same time, the face does not become sedentary, and facial expressions are preserved. When using Bocouture, only those muscles that cause the formation of facial wrinkles relax. The underlying muscles are not affected. It is these muscles that provide a lively facial expression, and in the case of using Bocouture®, they do not suffer.
Due to this, the face retains its natural expression, facial expressions, mobility, and the ability to express emotions. This explains the choice in favor of Bocouture for those who would like to look younger, get rid of facial wrinkles, do a facelift, and at the same time maintain full mobility.
The drug can also suppress the secretion of sweat glands.
Like all type A botulinum toxins (Botox/Vistabel, Disport, etc.) Bocouture® is not a rejuvenating agent. It does not activate collagen production or create a supportive framework. Other treatments in our Clinic do that. It simply gives the face a rest.
Bocouture® relaxes the facial muscles around the eyes and on the forehead. Thanks to this, the formation of expression lines stops. Moreover, existing wrinkles are smoothed out. The face is restored.
Externally, this process looks like rejuvenation. But essentially it is just a facial rest. The wrinkle-smoothing effect is achieved by perfect muscle relaxation.
