Acupuncture facial lifting (needles of youth) is a type of acupuncture therapy aimed at restoring the facial skin area for the purpose of rejuvenation.
When exposed to certain biologically active points (BAP) of the face, blood and lymph circulation is stimulated, which leads to the restoration of skin cells, subcutaneous tissue, fascia, muscles and stimulation of the production of elastin and collagen in tissues – the main components of skin youth. This process leads to facial rejuvenation, lifting effect and slowing down the aging process. Facial acupuncture for rejuvenation is considered one of the most effective and natural ways to prolong youth.
About the procedure of acupuncture facelift
In our clinic, this procedure is performed by a reflexologist with many years of experience, who examines the patient, determines indications and contraindications and draws up a treatment plan.
Disposable sterile needles are fixed on the face in the forehead, nose wings, lip edges and chin for 20-40 minutes. It is here that the main biological active points (BAP) are located, which also help to improve blood circulation, as a result, the skin becomes moisturized, smooth, and the soft tissues of the face are lifted.
The number of injected needles varies from 10-30, depending on the degree of aging of the skin.
Before the introduction of needles into the skin of the face, the injection points are treated with a disinfectant solution. After the injection, they remain under the skin for 20 to 40 minutes. At the end of the session, they are removed and the skin is re-disinfected
The mechanism of action of acupuncture face lifting
- Acupuncture affects all skin elements, including the basal layer. Thus, the formation of the upper layers of the skin occurs.
- We influence the dermis in which fibroblasts are located. They are responsible for the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.
- It affects the upper layers of small blood and lymphatic vessels, thus restoring healthy blood and lymph circulation.
- Under the action of needles, microtraumatization of the dermis occurs, which activates a cascade of reactions and starts the process of regeneration (recovery).
- It works at the level of muscle fibers. Where there is a muscle spasm with the help of acupuncture, it is removed, the muscles relax and become toned, thereby achieving a lifting effect.
- Under the action of needles in the skin cells of the face, metabolism improves, the excretion of metabolic products accelerates, there is an active excretion of excess fluid in the facial area.

After the first procedure, the patient feels an improvement in facial skin tone. To achieve a sustainable result, we recommend a course of treatment consisting of several sessions. The effect of acupuncture is prolonged, it will last and develop for several more weeks after manipulation.
Acupuncture lifting is an absolutely natural way to preserve the youth of the face, because nothing is injected into the skin. Everything that the skin needs for youth is in it itself.
