VIVACY Desirial® hyaluronic acid gel

Hyaluronic acid is represented in natural origin molecules present in the human body, particularly, in the skin and mucous membranes. Hyaluronic acid has a special feature – it retains water molecules with a weight 1000 times more than its own, which contributes to hydration and tissue tone.
Hyaluronic acid has a short half-life period and is soluble in water, so it requires technology to stabilize the preparation. The antioxidant mannitol is a component of DESIRIAL® preparations which limits degradation of the gel immediately after the injection. Mannitol fights against free radicals resulting from damaging the tissue with the tip of a needle or cannula and retains the administered hyaluronic acid for the first hours after injection.

How can an injection of hyaluronic acid offer relief to women suffering from vulvo-vaginal disorders? Injections deliver hyaluronic acid directly into the tissues of the vulvo-vaginal area to contribute to its efficient hydration.
